Nice article, thanks Zucconi.
One thing that confused me was why I can’t reuse the same optical depth for both scatterings. Then I found out the height density ratio function for Mie scattering is different, and that’s why we need to compute both separately. That bit was a little confusing.
I also am confused about the Mie scattering coefficient equation. When I compute the equation, the result doesn’t come out as 0.0021. Do I need a different N for that formula?
