    1. Hi Taowei!

      Thank you for joining!
      I haven’t had the time to go back to finish these tutorials, as people got more interested in other topics. Unfortunately, it takes many months to complete a series like this! I have posted these tutorials as “under construction” and decided to make them accessible to higher tier patrons who are interested. The code is still available and I hope that if you have followed the series from the beginning it should be fairly self-explanatory.

      However, I did resume the topic of volumetric rendering for transparent objects in this 8-part series about Atmospheric Volumetric Scattering: https://www.alanzucconi.com/2017/10/10/atmospheric-scattering-1/ .

    I enter the password and found all tutorial text are “fsfdsfds””gfgf” except the code and images, any thing wrong?

    1. Hey! When you’re reading posts in preview they might not be all finished!
      Most of the code is already available, but I’m still working on the text unfortunately! :p

      1. Alan, could you write here ready to use, full shader code for hard shadows, even without commentary text ?

        1. How to use

          d = sdf_union(d, sdf_yplane_down(p, _FloorY -_MinDistance));

          ???

        2. I tried this, but I have no shadows, like this:
