“Still time” – Development log #2

The development of the upcoming “Still time” is slowly but steadily progressing. Just as a quick preview, you can see here how the main screen looks like at the moment.

Still time

Once again, I couldn’t resist to the ‘ol CRT style. When I first started working on “Still time”, I was pretty sure not to include these effects in the game, especially considering how heavily “RAPTUS” relies on a similar aesthetic style. However, having the chance to talk with the developers of “Trash TV” and “Personal Trip to the Moon” completely changed my mind.

Since television effects are objectively abused, many players find them quite annoying. For this reason, they won’t be present in the actual gameplay. A couple of CRT effects and white noise, however, will appear during time bending but I promise that they won’t be [too] invasive.
